The ‘dil-e-naadaan’ should be changed to ‘dil-e-naadaa.N’ (with a chandrabindi). Also, ‘maazaraa’ should be changed to ‘maajaraa’ and ‘mauzuud’ to ‘maujuud’.
I would suggest you listen to Talat Mahmood and Suraiya’s rendition of this song, tuned so beautifully by Ghulam Mohammed for the film ‘Mirza Ghalib’.

you should hear the version sung by talat mehmood, it’s better than jagjit singh’s version.

i agree with you folks, but also listen to Mehdi Hassan’s rendition set to raag Sarang. It is top of the range, with due respect to Talat and Suraiya, Jagjit sadly wont fall into that cataegory

I dont agree to people speaking against someone
I agree if u like Talat and Suraiya ji but than again JAgjit Singh and others have made a position by there hardword and hence no one should speak against someone
Everyone is best in there own way which probabaly we all are too small to understand. To critiise someone is very easy, try to appreciate wht they have acheived
Please dont think it as a lecture
