तुम तो ख़ुद ही क़ातिल हो, तुम ये बात क्या जानो
क्यों हुआ मैं दीवाना बेड़ियाँ समझती हैं।
बाम से उतरती है जब हसीन दोशीज़ा
जिस्म की नज़ाक़त को सीढ़ियाँ समझती हैं।
यूँ तो सैर-ए-गुलशन को कितना लोग आते हैं
फूल कौन तोड़ेगा डालियाँ समझती हैं।
जिसने कर लिया दिल में पहली बार घर ‘दानिश’
उसको मेरी आँखों की पुतलियाँ समझती हैं।

Hmmmmmmm bahut dinon ke baad is ghazal ko padha!
Hussain bandhuon ki aawaz mein ise sabse pehle Vividh Bharti ke Rang Tarang karykram pe suna tha!
aaj aapki badaulat yahan phir padhne ko mili!

When I first heard it, I liked it. At that time, I was a bachelor. And now when I read it first on this website and that too after getting engaged … this ghazal delivers new meanings … simply awesome
